Reference Assays
The reference assays are a random distribution of historical assays performed on different days whose control parameters are statistically compared to those of a single assay or multiple assays to detect changes in reagents or incubation conditions. The performance characteristics of the test method are determined from the behavioral statistics of these reference assays.
