Affinity
Affinity is the intrinsic binding strength of the ligand binding reaction. The intrinsic attractiveness of the binder for the ligand is typically expressed as the equilibrium constant (Ka) of the reaction. The equilibrium constant Ka = [Ligand-Binder]/[Ligand][Binder], where [ ] represents the molar concentration of the material at equilibrium.
